Friendly business networking in Stansted Mounfitchet

Friendly and welcoming business networking over arguably the best breakfast in the local area, no pressure to bring referrals, just bring yourself and your businesses cards.

About Us

The Stansted Business Forum (SBF) is an independent, not-for-profit business networking organisation that represents and supports businesses in Stansted Mountfitchet and the surrounding area. Since its formation, it has developed into one of the principal voices for the local business community, acting as a bridge between businesses, local authorities and other community organisations. Its focus extends beyond traditional networking, seeking to strengthen the local economy whilst contributing positively to the wider community.

The Forum is positioned as a key stakeholder and consultee in local policy matters. Becoming part of the Stansted Business Forum gives you the opportunity to be informed, and if you wish to contribute and become involved in issues, not only affecting business, but the wider community.

More than a decade after its formation, the Stansted Business Forum has established itself as one of the principal business organisations serving the Stansted area.

Its strength lies in combining three complementary roles:

  • A networking organisation, helping businesses to build relationships and generate opportunities.
  • A representative body, providing a collective voice on issues affecting the local economy.
  • A community partner, working alongside Stansted Mountfitchet Parish Council, Uttlesford District Council and other organisations to support the long-term prosperity of Stansted and its surrounding communities.

Our Links with Education and Young People

We have a longstanding relationship with Forest Hall School. This allows the opportunity for young people at the school to connect with local businesses and professionals, giving them a chance to link with the business community and other stakeholders at our meetings.
